We did leave first thing this morning, what a terrible RV park!

Pulled into Homosassa State Park just down the road for a look at the Manatees. Kind of a "touristy" wildlife park, but the Manatees were worth the admission.

Had to decide if we wanted to go to a State Park or a private RV park. We have not been too happy with Florida State Parks, although clean, just too much "jungle" for us. State Park sites on the Gulf or the Atlantic are almost impossible to get on short notice. We drove on into Tampa to stay at an RV Resort for the next four nights. Not what we like to do, but what we needed to do to get out of the aforementioned "jungle". However, the fitness center advertised is a treadmill in the community center, and the jacuzzi is scheduled to be completed at a later date. We will make the best of it!!!!!!!!!!!! It is warm, so how can we bitch? It was 78 today and is 73 tonight at 9:30 pm. Thunderstorms scheduled for tomorrow.

We are now in the Tampa area for the next 9 days and then on to Ft Myers Beach for 14 days. Our "activity" will be somewhat a daily routine but will keep you posted about anything of possible interest.
