Beautiful morning today. Took the dogs on a 3 mile foothill loop hike. Tempted to stay longer but the weather and scenery only gets better in Tucson so we showered, ate lunch, and left at 2:00pm.

Catalina State Park (Tucson) was only an 80 mile drive so we arrived late afternoon. 75 degrees! I won't say anything more about the weather.

We paid for a six night stay to get us past the Sunday football playoffs then we go South to Nogales for one night on the border to get last minute "stuff" before crossing Tuesday morning. Then we are in Mexico for about 6 weeks. We are getting close to the "adventure" and are excited about going. I'm ready to go now, but Ellen wants to hang around Tucson for a few days.

We looked at the Weather Channel today and can only say we are sorry!
