THE WEATHER WE LEFT BEHIND

Sunday, January 4, 2009

The rain continued all night.
But today dawned mostly blue sky. The forecast for today was scattered thunderstorms but only a 5 minute sprinkle was felt. 62 in the morning and 75 for the day. Wonderful day!

The beach here is just beautiful. Click on the video of Henderson Beach on the left side of the page.
If dogs could walk the beach here with us we would stay longer. And bad weather is still in the forecast so we plan to leave tomorrow morning. If the morning looks like another good day we might stay another night. Only colder temps and no beach from here until we reach Mexico.

All my family made it safely back home today from Ft. Myers and I don't know how they could drive so far in less than two days, but they did.

I won't bore you with details of our day today, but pictures are below.

The two of us at Henderson beach - I forgot to suck it in.
